I've heard a similar story (probably real) about Mark Twain.
He visits the doctor/psychiatrist and says that I feel down. The doctor asks him to read Mark Twain's books unknowingly.
It's really touchy. Wearing a mask affects both physical and mental health. But, sometimes there's no option but to keep a smiling face.
